This is a party game, along the lines of Cranium, but all about the movies.
The production values are very high, and there are more than 1300 cards, each with four questions/activities on them, making it pretty re-playable.
The cards are split onto 4 eras - The Studio Years (1927 to '49), The Independent Years (1950 to '69), The Corporate Years (1970 to '89) and The Blockbuster Years (1990 to 2006), and each team only has to complete two eras, so the game can be played with different age groups.
There are 6 different activities on the cards:
Cutting Room (A pot-potpourri of quotes, quips and quirky facts from both on- and off-screen)
Rushes (The players are the stars as they re-create famous scenes from favorite films)
Soundtrack (Hum, whistle, pound the piano or use the Cinematique kazoos to perform film songs)
Casting (Questions about famous roles, fabulous pairings and the actors who created them)
Screen Test (Mime classic scenes, impersonate the stars or be a legend of the silver screen)
Credits (An optional activity and something for the film buffs - hard, but rewarding)
